Santa Margherita Ligure is an elegant city, called the Pearl of Tigullio, surrounded by hills, covered with a rich and variegated Mediterranean vegetation, on which rise many fascinating villas.
Indeed, above all after the Second World war, Santa Margherita, Portofino and the hamlet of Paraggi became exclusive tourist localities, with an extraordinary fascination that is still unchanged.
In Santa (its citizens call it in this way) you will be able to relax on the beach or to discover the artistic treasures of the city, among which we remember Villa Durazzo, a complex constituted by two villas (Durazzo-Centurione and San Giacomo), a castle of the 16th century and a wide park, in which there is an interesting italian garden with paths; or the picturesque Abbey della Cervara, that is situated in a dense and rich vegetation over the road that goes along the Coast of the Dolphins between Santa Margherita and Portofino, and it is formed by a church, a convent and a wide park with a garden.
Santa Margherita therefore is an evocative and attractive locality, full of history, culture, landscape and emotions.
